All members of the BeatBurgerBand are big personalities in the Czech hip hop, theatre and music scene. Jaro Cossiga is the founder of this incredible band which is built on very high level of beatboxing skill. They use the elements of classical beatboxing, new school beatboxing, vocal beatboxing, beat rhyming, soul, pop, classical and aliquot singing, rap, slam poetry, standup comedy, electric boogie and theatre. All these ingredients mean a very extensive show full of surprises.
Jaro Cossiga and Freaky Jezus are beatbox pioneers in Czech Republic. The Arcga theatre asked them to perform a piece called CHAT using hip hop skills with classical languages. Through Archa, they were able to create something totally new and then brought this back to their beatboxing crew and the rest of Czech hip hop. They were hosts at the international festival Hip Hop Kemp for its first three years as well as many other events and concerts. Their notoriety brought them a 1 year television deal, the first hip hop show on television in the Czech Republic.
As he was producing the television show, Cossiga called seven beatboxers he knew and BeatBurgerBand was born. They specialized in multi-beatboxing routines that were completely improvised.
For 2009, the members are Jaro Cossiga, Nasty InDustry, EnDru, Freaky Jezus, IvanHoe, Jony Typek, Peter Adamov and sounDesigner Kuzhell. Due to a surprise appearance at the Trintity International Hip Hop Festival 2008 of Cossiga, Nasty and Freaky Jezus, the crew was invited to return for a full performance and workshop. Atting the festival in 2009 will be Jaro Cossiga, Nasty InDustry, Jony Typek, Kuzhell and staff photographer Lokey.
